Idaho® Spuds™ Hashbrowns are dehydrated so they take up less room in your pantry and are quicker to cook than frozen hashbrowns. They’re great on their own, but try mixing in bacon, sausage and eggs for a delicious skillet breakfast.
Easy Prep in Carton – Just Add Water!
- Fill carton to FILL LINE with hot water (minimum 120°F).
- Close the carton and let stand for 12 minutes. Drain well. Caution: contents will be hot.
- Preheat a large, non-stick skillet and Tbsp. oil over MEDIUM-HIGH heat.
- Fry on one side for 3-4 minutes, or until golden brown.
For extra crispness, flip Hashbrowns and fry for an additional 3-4 minutes. For softer Hashbrowns, let stand for 15 minutes in step 2. Refrigerate any leftovers.
